Lighting

Lighting is an important factor, when blended with the music, that helps create that special atmosphere.  Below we've described our approach to our lighting which makes it a powerful contribution to your celebration.

Dynamic light show

You'll see a wide range of lighting effects used during your party, and we vary these over the course of the party.  We program the various lights with effects which match different styles of music.  So while we're choosing the right music for the moment, we're also choosing the right lighting to match the music and the moment too.  We vary the lighting effects, quantity of light, the colours, the speed of change, the brightness, all to enhance the atmosphere and mood.

Eyes and ears in harmony

We believe that your eyes should see the same beat that your ears hear.  That's why the lighting show is dynamically triggered by sound to create a properly dynamic light show, so the lights change to the beat of the music.

Latest LED lighting effects

We use the best of the range of modern disco LED lighting.  Our typical light show contains over 1000 individual LED bulbs.  Each of our light units can create a range of dynamic effects. This provides much more flexibility, variety and interest compared to traditional disco lights. That said, we still use the best of "old school" where these give a better specific effect, and also in homage to the original days of disco.

Mood Lighting

The nature of our lights and our programming of them means that we can provide general mood lighting to support the feature lighting of the disco lights.  The LED lights which use, with some clever blending, create over 250 different colours to suite your event or venue's colour scheme or design.

Our lighting equipment is very energy efficient

The LED lighting effect uses a  fraction of the energy compared traditional "incandescent" coloured bulbs traditionally used for disco lighting.  These LED lights are also much more efficient than halogen, or fluorescent light which are now common for energy efficient lighting at home.  LED lighting is now becoming more common for the home market, however LED technology is more expensive than other bulbs, and tend not to be replaceable.

Overall this means that we can run our light show using about 10% of the energy of a comparable light show based on more traditional lighting.   Of course, this also means that both the electricity costs and the carbon footprint are lower.
